Man Dead, Two Injured In Apparent Drive-By Shooting

Posted: Updated:
Pasadena, CA -

(FOX 11 / CNS) Two men and a teenage boy were shot in Pasadena and one of the men died from his wounds, police said today.

The shooting occurred at El Sereno Avenue and Cedar Street, said Pasadena police Lt. John Dewar. The time was about 10:20 p.m. Sunday. Witnesses heard gunfire, Dewar said. Officers found three males shot, including two adults and a juvenile. One adult was pronounced dead at the scene and an adult and the juvenile were transported to a hospital with minor
injuries.

Broadcast reports from the scene indicated the victims were two 19-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy, and that one of the 19-year-old men died at the scene.

The shooting may have been a drive-by, which was unusual for the area, Dewar said. A late-model white SUV was seen at the time.

There was no suspect description, Dewar said. Investigators were still interviewing witnesses this morning.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
