Police investigating death of woman found in Pittsfield Twp. parking lot

Police discovered the body of a young woman Thursday morning in Pittsfield Township. Her body was found in the parking lot of Evergreen Apartments at Carpenter and Packard roads.

The woman has been identified as 23-year-old Samantha Jo Dollinger of Ypsilanti Township.

An autopsy performed was inconclusive and showed no signs of trauma. Examiners are waiting on toxicology results.

Police say they obtained information that say the woman has a history of substance abuse.
