CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

There's something a little fake about that one sports illustrated swimsuit model.

Sports Illustrated said a Barbie doll will be featured in the 50th anniversary swimsuit edition.

The magazine hits news-stands next week, and adding Barbie has doubled the controversy the annual edition normally causes.

Critics said the issue sexualizes a girl's toy that's already infamous for an impossible body image.

But Mattel, the company that makes the doll, said she belongs right there with the other swimsuit legends.
