As the Winter Storm moves in driving conditions are becoming more and more dangerous on metro area surface streets, interstates and highways.

The following is a list of reported road closings around the metro:

  • Hwy 92 near Professional Pkwy in Woodstock is beginning to ice over.
  • Perimeter Center Parkway is closed at Lake Hearn
  • Houston Mill Road is closed at Gatewood Road
  • I-285 NB at Glennwood Road (ALL LANES BLOCKED) 
  • New Peachtree Road at I-285
  • Houston Mill Road at Logan's Knoll
  • Colonial Drive Bridge in Brookhaven 
  • Eastside Drive at Wesley Chapel Road is closed
  • Dunwoody Club Drive at Winters Chapel Road
  • Clairmont Way
  • Sharon Way
  • Henderson Mill Road at the hill
  • Cheshire Way
  • Lake Erin Drive
  • Asbury Square at Shford Dunwoody Road

    One of the tubes of the Lincoln Tunnel was closed for nearly four hours after a chain-reaction accident involving a New York-bound jitney bus and two other vehicles. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Steve Coleman says three people were reported injured in the accident in the center tube at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
