When Fox 2's Erika Erickson and her crew arrived on Bentler Street on Detroit's west side, it was covered in smoke. A home was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters then made a gruesome discovery: two men were dead inside with multiple stab wounds. Another man with stab wounds was found, but barely alive.

Detroit Police say a man in his 50s was one of the deceased.  His son, in his 20s, was taken to the hospital but has since been pronounced dead. Another male in his 20s, believed to be a friend of the family, was also found dead. All the men were found with multiple stab wounds.

The landlord of the house says he tried to rescue the men from the fire. Neighbors called 911.
