TULSA, Okla. -

Tulsa, OH Officer Clay Hicks arrived on the scene of a horrific crash to see a man trapped inside a burning car.

The car held five passengers, but only one was trapped. Hicks knew to step in and quickly took charge of the situation, freeing the man from the vehicle by unlocking the doors and pulling him out of the burning car.

"This is great to be out here. And be in the right place at the right time. I mean that's what we signed up for is to help people and its good when that stuff comes into fruition for us," Hicks said.

While all passengers were taken to the hospital, only the driver suffered serious injuries.
