WASHINGTON -

Metro says a person was struck by a train at the Dupont Circle station Wednesday evening.

Metro says the victim is a 36-year-old male. He suffered non life-threatening injuries.

The Dupont Circle station was closed for a short period of time while fire and rescue personnel responded to the scene.

Metro is investigating to see if this was intentional or unintentional incident.
