ATLANTA -

A pregnant woman who had been stranded on Langford Parkway for 14 hours is home thanks to the generosity of some kind truckers.

Jason Patrick, from Bonaire, Ga., said he was staying in Atlanta when he read about Brandi Underwood's story on Snowed in Atlanta. The Facebook group was created to put those in need in touch with those willing to help.

Underwood, 33, had been stuck on the side of Langford Parkway since Tuesday afternoon's snow storm.  She said that EMTs had been unable to get an ambulance to her.

Around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Patrick and nine other truckers helped Underwood over the median wall onto the hood of Patrick's Ford Expedition.

Patrick said that Underwood was about the 15th person he's rescued since the storm left thousands stuck on the road.
