CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Columbia College and Marist High School graduate Mike Cullen helped produce "Cowboy Kid," one of the five finalists from the Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" commercial contest.

The Beverly native joined Good Day Chicago via Skype from Los Angeles Wednesday morning, to explain how he got involved. The way Mike puts it, his friend needed help and he said yes.

Whichever commercial receives the most votes by 11 p.m. Wednesday will air during Super Bowl XVLIII. All you have to do is click on "Cowboy Kid" and click "vote" when the video pops up.

The winning team will not only see their work on the most-watched sporting event on TV, but also win $1 million and a chance to work with Marvel on the set of "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Cullen is also a comedic actor, who's currently working on a YouTube series called "Sad Boss."

Good luck Mike! Chicago's behind you!
