Bridget Kelly Media Op

Posted: Updated:
Last week Bridget Kelly, the woman who has taken most of the slack for the ongoing bridgegate scandal, was paraded by her lawyer in front of the press for the first time since she was let go from her position as one of Christie’s chiefs of staff.

In the video captured by numerous press outlets, Kelly is seen exiting a car during a snow storm and walking towards the cameras before going inside her home.

The whole time Kelly was looking down and seemed sad. Body language expert Julie Theroux discussed what Kelly’s movements and expressions meant during this staged photo op.

“If you look at her body language, she’s looking down, her head is down, her eyes are down and it’s almost as if, if I don’t see you, you can’t see me. She doesn’t want to see anybody. She looks like she hasn’t been sleeping; she has dark circles under her eyes that you can see in any amount of light and this means maybe she’s not sleeping, she’s been crying and she looks irritated and angry. When you see the sadness and when she’s walking down the driveway, that part does help her, I will agree with that as far as gaining sympathy and more the sympathy comes from feeling sorry for her the way the attorney parades her around,” she said.

Former Governor Jim McGreevey, a man who is no stranger to scandal, also offered up his opinion regarding all the political turmoil that is swirling around the Garden State.

“I know the governor is blessed with a wonderful family and deep abiding faith and when I was at the state of the state message, what I was heartened by was when I heard him return to those basic values and I think returning to those basic, bedrock values of family and faith always put you in a great standing. So I think for the sake of the state of New Jersey, this is going to be a difficult period, but hopefully at some point we get back to the people’s business,” he said.

Sadly, Jeter the pit bull puppy is missing. While dogs go missing all the time, there are two specific things that distinguish this story from others. First, several witnesses say Jeter didn't wonder off and that they saw Jeter get taken. Second, the community has rallied in a huge way to help find the loveable pup.

Empty spaces are popping up all over Atlantic City with the closing of three major casinos: Revel, Trump Plaza, and Showboat. Even with all of this going on, the city is still trying to use eminent domain to take away the home of an Atlantic City local legend, Piano Man Charlie Birnbaum. Birnbaum has tuned pianos for icons like: Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, and John Legend. He's been a resident of Atlantic City in the same home for over 50 years.

Video posted on YouTube showing young women and men who appear to be stumbling and drunk coming out of the restaurant Pranna in the flatiron district is why angry residents packed into a community meeting to complain Wednesday night. Neighbors say problems have been happening on Saturdays and Sundays during a so-called bottomless brunch, where patrons can drink as many drinks as they want in a two-hour period.
