1st grader shaves head, holds fundraiser for friend with cancer

Vincent Butterfield and Zac Gossage are best friends and when Vincent found out his 6-year-old buddy had cancer, he knew he had to do something.

Vincent shaved his head and began raising money to support his treatments.

Zac has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a fast-growing cancer that requires expensive treatments.

Vincent raised more than $200 for Zac by selling homemade scarves. Then one day, he came to school with a surprise.

He pulled off a cap in class to reveal a shaved his head.

"I cut it off… to make Zac feel like he's not the only one without any hair," Vincent says.
