Macklemore, Ryan Lewis jam on Bronx bus

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - A new video stunt (this one promoting the Grammys) features duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performing their hit song "Can't Hold Us" on an "MTA" bus in the Bronx as purportedly surprised commuters get in on the beat, according to a post on HollywoodReporter.com.

The video appears to be shot using several cameras, including some installed on the bus itself and some held by people on board. Shows them boarding the bus, paying the fare, turning on a boom box, and then rapping.

At first riders act surprised, but then they join in and clap, sing, and jam. Even the bus driver gets in on the action and fist-bumps one of the rappers as they get off the bus.

Yeah, sure.

The bus in the video closely resembles an MTA bus but the agency's logos are blurred out.

It's part of an ad campaign for the Grammys called "Music Unleashes Us," according to THR.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey could rescind a $1-a-year lease for a park-and-ride lot near the Lincoln Tunnel. The agency's chief of real estate and development told a committee Wednesday that it should change a deal made in 2012. Published reports have alleged that former Port Authority chairman David Samson voted to approve the lease even though his law firm did business with New Jersey Transit, which operates the park-and-ride lot.
