TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Justin Drummond scored 24 points with 11 rebounds to lift Toledo over Northern Illinois 77-68 on Wednesday.

Toledo (16-2, 4-1 Mid-American) trailed by three at 16-13 after Northern Illinois' Aksel Bolin drilled a 3-pointer. The Rockets scored the next six points, including a layup and pair of free throws by Drummond, en route to a 34-26 lead at the break.

The Huskies (7-10, 1-4) cut the lead to five points several times in the second half, but were never able to get over the hump.

Toledo shot 50 percent from the floor, including 7 of 15 from beyond the arc. Julius Brown scored 15, while Rian Pearson and Nathan Boothe both added 10 points.

Northern Illinois was led by Travon Baker with 17 points. Darrell Bowie had 16, Jordan Threloff added 14 and Aaric Armstead had 10.
