Musicians Perform Live To Raise Money For A Dog's Life Rescue

Posted: Updated:

Tuesday night at The Troubador, a great night of music to benefit A Dog's Life Rescue. Lots of great bands, including the first LA show since 1987 for alt-country stars, The Long Ryders, Sid Griffin and Greg Sowders were here.

In early 2005, after the disband of connect-a-pet, Julia Pennington and Allison Lange joined together to form A Dog's Life Rescue. ADLR is a not for profit, all volunteer, no-kill organization dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused or neglected dogs and other animals by providing them with shelter, care, and rehabilitation both medically and emotionally. Further, we continuously strive to promote the importance of spaying and neutering as well as the ethical treatment of all animals through community outreach, education and adoption.

Bands performing at the Troubador , Tuesday night at 6:30pm include:

The Long Ryders (First LA Show since 1987)

The Tearaways

Wednesday Week

The Stingrays

Kylie Rose Hughes

Matthew & Gunnar Nelson (from Nelson)

The Pop

The Cherry Bluestorms
