Gina's People: Covered With Love LA

Posted: Updated:
Los Angeles, CA -

"I am blessed to be a blessing," Says Jennifer Sariñana. She is the founder of a blanket outreach program that reaches approximately 58,000 homeless people in the Los Angeles area.

On LA's Skid Row, everyone seems to know Sariñana. She's out there on a regular basis handing out blankets to the working poor and those living on the streets. She says, "It's what humanity is all about, giving each other a lift when they're down. We love them and we want them to know that they're loved."

If you would like to donate blankets to Sarinaña's cause, you can go to her website  at  www.coveredwithlovela.org Every Monday morning we recognize our FOX 11 viewers making a difference in the community.  If you would like to nominate someone, contact Gina Silva at gina.silva@foxtv.com
