Police: Suspect arrested in shooting in Yuma

Posted: Updated:

YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - One suspect is in custody and authorities are searching for another man in connection with a shooting in southwestern Arizona.

Yuma police responded to a report of a disturbance involving a gun about 3 am. Wednesday.

Officers found a 46-year-old man with gunshot wounds to one of his feet. He was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released. His name hasn't been released.

Investigators say an argument may have led to the shooting.

They later arrested 22-year-old Marco Navarrete, who has been booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police now are looking for a 20-year-old man for questioning about the shooting.
