Consumers Find Anti-Aging Procedures Without Going Under Knife

Posted: Updated:

Non-surgical cosmetic procedures skyrocketed in 2013 accounting for 75%percent of all anti-aging procedures done. It's a trend industry experts expect to continue.

FOX 29'S Joyce Evans now looks at one way people are finding their youth without going under the knife.

Michelle Wolinsky is looking to give her looks a boost with a procedure that provides a quick and noticeable lift.

"I feel as though it didn't change the way but it just gave volume to my face it rejuvenated the way I look .I am happy with it," Wolinsky said.

The procedure is called the "Cheek Rise." It is a new painless cheek lift technique that involves no cutting.

Anti- aging specialist,Doctor Stephen Bracci trademarked the name and perfected the technique.

The in-office "Cheek Rise" procedure is quick. It takes less than 10 minutes and there's no downtime.

Patients can even go back to work right away if they choose.

Alminda Brundyn says she decided to give cheek fillers a try because she felt going under the knife and having surgery was too drastic.

"I'm hopeful to get a more youthful look," Alminda said.

Dr. Bracci says he's performed the non-surgical treatment on hundreds of patients both men and women. His goal is to always to achieve a natural look.

"People loose volume in their mid-face and that creates a shadow effect over the whole face. By restoring that volume in the mid-face we can restore people's appearance and make them look more rested without surgery," Dr. Bracci said.

The doctor says if you want to maintain your new look you need to have the procedure done once year it can be costly to a couple of thousand dollars depending on the doctor.

Volunteers are working to help save one of the only stadiums still in existence where black professional baseball teams once played. Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson was once home to the New York Black Yankees, the New York Cubans and other Negro League teams. Eleven members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame played there, including Larry Doby.

Robert De Niro is a family man, a filmmaker, an entrepreneur and one of my favorite actors of all time. He's also a co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, which has more to see than ever before. De Niro wears just as many hats on screen as he does in real life. The father of six starred in six films last year, owns four restaurants and a hotel, and still finds time each spring for the Tribeca Film Festival, Lower Manhattan's annual cinematic showcase.
