Eagles Tickets Going On Sale

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

The Eagles are on the road to the Super Bowl. But before our NFC East champs can make it there, they have to take on the New Orleans Saints.

One thing is for sure: The Eagles' fans are behind them 100 percent.

Every place you look, you see Eagles fever flying high. And that team pride means big bucks for the City of Brotherly Love and area businesses.

The Philadelphia Sports Congress estimates that a single playoff game with hotels, tickets and restaurants translates into a $10 million economic impact for Philly.

And Eagles gear is flying off the shelves at stores like Modell's. Hats, T-shirts and caps – as long as it says Eagles, fans want it.

And let's not forget about those ticket sales. We found tickets on StubHub.com starting at $167 all of the way up to $2,700 for second-row seats on the 50-yard line.

We're told some additional tickets will be made available for sale online only Tuesday at noon on TicketMaster.com. Season ticket holders get first whack at the tickets around 10 a.m., then they're available to the public.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley is reporting live from the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art all morning with more on Eagles fever.
