PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) -

A suspect is in police custody in Pontiac after a murder Saturday night. Kerry Holley, 46, was arrested Sunday on California Street. He's in the Oakland County jail suspected in the shooting death of Hardin Harris, 34, of Pontiac.

Police believe Holley was the shooter in the murder on Columbia Street. Deputies were called to the home after the shooting. We're told a holiday party was taking place at the time.

Hardin was found in the basement with multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses say the two men got into an argument.

Holley's criminal history includes a bank robbery conviction. He was removed from parole in 2010.

Police on Friday charged Kareem Potomont, 21, with two counts of attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal use of a firearm, and reckless endangerment in connection with the shooting that took place near a bus stop on Flatbush Avenue on Monday, April 14.
