PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a suspect has been arrested in the fatal collision of a dirt bike and an all-terrain vehicle in north Phoenix.

Phoenix police say 48-year-old Gregg Creevy has been booked into jail on suspicion of leaving the scene of a fatal collision and tampering with evidence.

The accident occurred Dec. 17 in a desert area of North 57th Street.

Police say the rider of the motorcycle - 20-year-old Frisco Davidson-Spurs Yankolovich - was transported to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.

He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Witnesses say the rider of the ATV stopped and looked at the victim, then left the scene.

It wasn't immediately clear how police linked Creevy to the crash or whether he has a lawyer yet.
