Police search for driver who struck woman in DeKalb Co.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -

A woman was rushed to the hospital Friday evening after being struck by a car while walking on DeKalb County road. Now police are searching for the vehicle that hit her.

Police say the woman was struck while walking on Redan Road near Adcox Road sometime around 9 p.m. Friday. Witness say a dark colored vehicle knocked her off the road and onto the sidewalk. The vehicle then fled the scene.

The woman was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
