BARRINGTON, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

No one was hurt when a snow plow and a school bus were involved in a crash Wednesday morning in northwest suburban Barrington Hills.

The crash happened a few minutes after 9 a.m. on Dundee Road near Hawthorne Road (Route 59), according to Barrington Hills police.

There were children on the school bus, but no one was injured, police said.

The snow plow's fuel tank was punctured, resulting in a fuel spill that has shut down Dundee Road between Barrington and Hawthorne roads, according to police.

Dundee Road is expected to remain closed into the afternoon as the spill is cleaned up, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
