DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police are looking for two men believed to have been involved in the shooting death of Cory Reid, 33, of Detroit. He was gunned down in front of his SUV on Hull Street off Nevada Saturday.

Tene Davis is still trying to understand what happened to her cousin, Cory. He had just left a corner store on Nevada and was heading back to his SUV a little before 5pm when a single gunshot ended his life. Family and friends say the body count in this east side neighborhood has gone up dramatically in recent years and the population has gone down.

Cory is being remembered for his goofiness and ability to make light even in the heaviest situations. Family members are asking anyone with information to come forward and call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP

Police say both suspects are black men in their 20's. One was wearing what looked like a black pea coat, the other is described as tall and slim wearing a gray jacket.
