The 10-year-old girl who was suing her mom's ex-boyfriend in attempts to get her dog back has been reunited with the pet.

Adrienne Lenhoff, the girl's mother, tells Fox 2 attorneys arranged for the ex-boyfriend to bring the dog to their new home on Friday.

The dog was brought over while Hannah Wise was still at school, and when she came home she was greeted at the door by the dog, Mystery.

Hannah explained at a story-telling event last Friday night at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History that the ex-boyfriend agreed to take care of the dog while she and her mom got settled in a new home. Once they were settled he would not return the dog.
