CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A semi truck stuck under the elevated CTA tracks in the Loop is holding up traffic Thursday afternoon.

The semi is wedged under the tracks near the station at Randolph and Wabash, according to dispatch reports.

Traffic is unable to get through at the intersection and is causing a backup in the area, according to the reports.

A CTA spokeswoman said the incident is not affecting trains.
