PHOENIX -

An attack inside a convenience store was caught on tape.  The clerk was beaten by a couple of crooks with a case of beer.

The attack was with an unlikely weapon, but police say these guys are in trouble and they want them off the streets.

Phoenix Police say the suspects entered the AM/PM store near Bethany Home and 43rd Avenue on Oct. 5th at 11:25 p.m. and attempted to commit a "beer run."

When the clerk tried to stop the suspects, one of the suspects began to physically assault the clerk by punching him repeatedly and hitting him with a box of beer.

Police say as the suspects left the store, the clerk followed and the other suspect punched the clerk.

Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic male, 20 - 25 years old, 5' 11" tall, 240 pounds with a tattoo on his right forearm.  Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic male, 20 - 25 years old, 5' 9" tall and 180 pounds.  They were last seen getting into a dark blue Chevrolet Avalanche truck where one of the suspects grabbed a black handgun.

If you have any information about this case, call the Phoenix Police.
