PHOENIX (AP) - Congressman Ron Barber has filed to run for re-election next year but the southern Arizona Democrat says he isn't certain he'll do so.

Barber told the Arizona Capitol Times that he must first discuss his possible candidacy with his family before formally declaring his candidacy. He says he's raising campaign money but trying to stay focused on his congressional work in the meantime.

Barber represents Arizona's 2nd Congressional District, which includes much of Tucson as well as other parts of southeastern Arizona.
