LINC Receives Special Honor From PETA

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia is known for a lot of things. One of those things has to be the cheesesteak! However, it turns out that our city has topped PETA's list of most-vegetarian-friendly stadiums!

For the fourth straight year, the home of the Eagles, Lincoln Financial Field, has topped the rankings!

PETA cited the Linc's vegetarian hoagie and veggie dogs as, quote, "exceptional" options.

Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium was ranked second. The stadium features the spicy vegan "Sloppy Jane."

Completing the top five were the Oakland Raiders' O.co Coliseum, with meat-free chili and vegan chocolate fondue; the Detroit Lions' Ford Field, with its grilled veggie wrap and meat-free barbecue sandwich; and the San Diego Chargers' Qualcomm Stadium, with its portabella carpaccio sandwich.
