PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. -

A 23-year-old man was found guilty of seven of eight charges stemming from two sexual assaults that occurred in early 2013.

According to Pinal County Attorney's office, Dakota Williams sexually assaulted a Coolidge man in late January and a woman who needed a ride from Casa Grande to Phoenix in early February.

In both instances, Williams allegedly picked up his victims, drove them to a remote location, sexually assaulted them and then left them.

He allegedly threatened the man with a knife during the assault.

Prosecutors believe Williams targeted the man because he is a transvestite and dresses as a woman and the woman because can speak a limited amount of English and was getting a ride from a domestic violence shelter.

Authorities arrested Williams in March.

Williams was found guilty of four counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual abuse, one count of unlawful imprisonment and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He is expected to be sentenced on Dec. 16 and faces up to 34 years in prison.
