Study: Are You Married To 'The One?'

If you've secretly thought that you weren't married to "Mister Right," you're not alone.

31 percent of married women surveyed say that they still haven't found "Mister Right." These women say they love their husbands, but are attracted to other men. However, they also claim that if Mister Right came along, they wouldn't cheat (83 percent said this).

Married men, however seem to be more fulfilled with their wives. Only four percent of them admit to not finding the right one. In fact, 69 percent say they'd definitely found "the One."

The study, by the Fine Bedding Company, found that attraction is the key to a happy marriage. The ones who claim that they haven't met the right one blame being attracted to other people as the main reason why.

The top five reasons that both male and female respondents cite as indicators that your significant other is the ideal spouse:

  1. You're still attracted to your spouse
  2. You consider your other half to be your best friend
  3. Your partner still makes you laugh
  4. You agree on important family decisions
  5. You are proud of each other's achievements

About 10 percent of men and women polled said that they didn't believe in such a concept as "the one."
