Katia Winter: My Scenes Are Usually Quite Full Of Heartache

Posted: Updated:

"My scenes are usually quite full of heartache and sadness."

Katia Winter plays the wife of Ichabod Crane on the hit FOX show "Sleepy Hollow". It's been a hit since it premiered and was the first show to not only get picked up for this season but also for next season. Even though it has a headless horseman and a slew of other demons, it's also a love story and funny. Katia gives credit to her on air husband for that.

"Tom (Ichabod) makes the show funny. It didn't read as funny when I read the pilot. When I saw the first episode I was surprised how much it made me laugh and it's because of Tom Mison, he's hysterical!"

Steve and Maria also asked if the period costumes make a difference in how she plays her part.

"In this case it certainly helps. it gives you the kind of elegance and the way women were so different back then..."

She also teased that viewers will get to know more about Katrina very soon.

"Katrina definitely hasn't had an easy life, you'll get to know more about that in episode 7 and 8."

She also talked about "Fringe" favorite John Noble's return to TV and talked about how he's returning for next season as well.

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
