Boomer Esiason: talk show host, football analyst, and former NFL quarterback. All impressive titles -- but they fail in comparison to the work he's done as co-chairman of the Boomer Esiason Foundation.

Boomer started the foundation after his son Gunner was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. The foundation's mission is simple: "to inspire and support those with cystic fibrosis."

Most recently the BEF raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through Team Boomer's Run in the New York City Marathon.

And despite being retired from the NFL, Esiason is still very involved in the foundation.

As for football, Super Bowls stir up many emotions for Esiason. As a player, he still thinks about Super Bowl 23 when he and the Cincinnati Bengals came within seconds of beating Joe Montana and the San Francisco 49ers.

As for this year's Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium when it comes to winter weather, Boomer says bring it.
