DETROIT (WJBK) -

Police tell Fox 2 three people have died after a shooting at Al's Barbershop on Seven Mile Road in Detroit.

Detroit police spokesperson Kelly Miner says seven others were shot, making a total of ten victims.

Police are looking for two suspects they describe as black men, one driving a 2004 black Impala and the other driving a 2004 white Impala with the windows possibly broken out from bullets.

Seven Mile Road between Keystone and Moenart was still closed off Wednesday night as officers investigate.

They say the barbershop is known for gambling activity, and believe the shooting was a retaliation after a gambling dispute.

One witness tells Fox 2's Taryn Asher he heard "50 to 60 gunshots." Another witness says she had three sons inside the barbershop at the time, and one of those sons is now dead.

Savage reports on the conditions of those injured from Detroit Receiving Hospital, where several of the shooting victims were taken. Savage reports he spoke to a man who said his friend was a victim, and is now experiencing paralysis.

Two others were taken to Henry Ford Hospital and two more taken to St. John Hospital. It is unknown at this time which hospital the other victims are at.

Editor's note: Initial police reports stated three people were dead and that the shooting took place at Rockie's Barbershop. Police have now confirmed two of the shootings were fatal, and the incident occurred at Al's Barbershop. The two barbers are housed in connecting buildings, as you can see in our video.
