Ex-Police Chief Kessler Asks For Sheriff Write-In Votes

Posted: Updated:
GILBERTON, Pa. -

Schuylkill County's most infamous ex-police chief is asking for another chance to serve and protect the people.

"I have another message for ya: Go (expletive) yourself again!" Mark Kessler said in one of the YouTube videos that cost the former Gilberton police chief his job.

He posted it over the summer as an advocate for gun rights.

Now, with the election for Schuylkill County sheriff coming up Tuesday, and the Republican sheriff candidate out of the race, Kessler is asking the people for a write-in vote.

"I can tell you one thing: I've made my fair share of mistakes in life, and I've worked through them. Every time I look back on them, I'm a man, and I've looked my problems right in the face, and I took care of business," Kessler said in his newest video posted on YouTube over the weekend.

He says he will continue fighting for his Second Amendment rights.
