GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Glendale man has been arrested for allegedly threatening his estranged wife and his stepdaughter.

Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say 37-year-old Andres Lasa was taken into custody Wednesday.

He's being held on suspicion of endangerment, attempted aggravated assault, threatening and intimidating, burglary and violation of court order.

The arrest came hours after deputies went to the Peoria home of Lasa's wife, who previously had a restraining order against him.

She told authorities that Lasa tried to break in to her house with a weapon and harm her and his stepdaughter.

Sheriff's officials say Lasa was arrested Oct. 11 on suspicion of aggravated assault for an alleged knife attack on his stepdaughter.

They say Lasa was then released on his own recognizance. It's unclear if he has lawyer yet.
