2 injured in early morning shootout in Inkster

INKSTER, Mich. (WJBK) -- Police say at least two people were injured following an early morning shootout that spanned over two blocks in Inkster.

Michigan State Police Lt. Michael Shaw says the shots were fired in the area of Clair St. and Grandview after 3 a.m. Tuesday. Shaw says multiple cars and homes were hit.

Police were able to apprehend two suspects. They're call the incident a 'non-random shooting.'

The investigation is ongoing.
