SMYRNA, Ga. -

Police are searching for suspects in a deadly armed robbery that took place in Cobb County early Monday.

Authorities said Ebone Driskell was shot and killed during a robbery in the parking lot at Doc's Food & Spirits around 1 a.m.

According to police, Driskell was a customer at the restaurant. As she and a friend were leaving, they were approached by a man demanding money. Driskell was in the passenger seat of a car when another man got in the car and tried to rob her.

Investigators said an altercation occurred and Driskell was shot. The two robbers then left in her vehicle. Authorities later recovered the vehicle near the crime scene.

Ellen Thompson, the owner of Doc's, said that surveillance cameras captured the incident. Police are reviewing that footage and hope to release detailed sketches of the suspects.

More than half the population of New York City rides public transportation to work. No other metropolis in this country even approaches that percentage or the MTA's total number of riders. For that reason, New York likely ranks as the most energy-efficient city in the nation. But what would it take to make the city even more energy-efficient or even self-sufficient?
