ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) -

Some costumes at Huron Park Elementary's 'Trunk or Treat' Thursday night caused some backlash from other parents. The two, identified as mother and daughter by the school principal, wore a black sweatshirt, white trash bags and labels reading 'White Trash.'

"I was a little appalled. To me, how can you dress yourself and your child in a white trash outfit?" asks Roseville parent Nicole Ekmeian.

"Roseville is known for "white trash" and you just don't do that at a kids function," says mom Megan Manchenko. "You can't have weapons; you can't have blood; you can't have gory stuff, but racial slurs? Go right ahead!" Manchenko says facetiously.

Certain costumes are banned at school-sanctioned events. The principal confronted the mother about the costume, but told Fox 2 it's hard to make parents abide by the same rules as students.

Rayford Jackson was in the middle of one of the biggest public corruption scandals in Detroit history. He was sentenced to five years in federal prison for bribing city councilwoman Monica Conyers. Now, he's back -- and apparently hanging out with another city councilwoman. When councilwoman Mary Sheffield posted a photo of them together on her Facebook page, Fox 2's M.L. The saying art is autobiographical takes on a whole new meaning when your canvas is a fully nude human body, as it is for artist Andy Golub. Andy along with 30 other artists and 45 Technicolor models paraded around several Manhattan hotspots over the weekend for NYC Body Painting day. Believe or not, this is completely legal in New York City.
