Authorities have made an arrest in the murder of a 23-year-old woman found in the Bergen County home she shared with her parents.

According to the Clifviewpilot, police arrested her former boyfriend, Mark J. Spatucci, 23, in connection with the crime.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office says there's evidence Mary Greff of Waldwick was strangled early Wednesday.

The Record newspaper reported an infant was found unharmed in a bassinet in the room with Greff's body.

Spatucci was being held on $2 million bail in the Bergen County Jail.

    Newark school enrollment problems

    Friday, August 22 2014 5:17 PM EDT2014-08-22 21:17:11 GMT
The school year in Newark is getting off to a rocky start. Classes start in less than two weeks and parents are still waiting in line for hours to find out where their kids are enrolled. The problem is being blamed on a glitch in the school's new online open enrollment system. To say mother of three Jennifer Caraballo is frustrated may be an understatement. She is one of hundreds of Newark parents desperately now trying to find a new school for her children.

Going off to college is an exciting time for the entire family, especially for the upcoming freshman. But with technology, parents can be in touch all the time. What's too much and what's just enough? Freshman move-in day seems to be harder on the parents than the students at Stony Brook University.
