Project Treasure: The gift of showing someone they're special

PHOENIX -

Looking for a unique way to tell someone they're special? A woman who was tired of the corporate world has come up with an unusual idea. It's called "Project Treasure."

It's a simple wooden box, but what goes in it is really special.

"It's boxed love."

That's what Kim Freid was looking for after 16 years in the corporate world.

"In the business world, it's all about the seller, about the win at the end of the day. I wanted to feel good about myself," says Freid.

Her company is Project Treasure. It's a company that makes people feel good with a beautifully wrapped box.

Before it's delivered it's filled with letters and notes by the sender and friends.

"It's all done online so you would send them an invitation and say, 'I would like Susan to feel cherished. If you would like to help me write a note and let Susan know what you love about her.'"

It's very popular. The notes and letters have all kinds of messages.

It's only $49.95 -- not too bad for a treasure. It is a unique gift and Kim does all of the work.
