Stephanie H. Talks About New Networking Apps

PHILADELPHIA -

Ever been out at an event, and someone comes up to you, who's name you should remember, but you can't? Or what about that dreaded scenario where you run out of things to talk about? Don't you wish you had something to save you during those awkward moments? Well, there's an app for that! In fact, there are three apps.

Namerick lets you add a name and notes about the person, and the app can schedule you reminders to contact the person. Then, it generates a pneumonic device to remember the person's name.

Type a name into the app Refresh, and it will pull up any public information from the Internet about the person, so you will have something to talk about.

Cardmunch is an app by LinkedIn that collates your business cards. Take a picture of a business card, and a real person will transcribe the information for you and the app will add it to your contacts.

Watch Tech expert Stephanie Humphrey demo these apps in the Good Day clip above!
