Church ransacked, police search for suspects

DETROIT (WJBK) -

A place of worship is attacked by vandals. Sometime over the weekend, His Holiness Church was broken into on Wyoming near Fenkel. Pricey equipment used for church services was stolen.

Between the stolen items and the damage left behind, the church now needs to come up with $3,000 for repairs.

"They took an amplifier, bass, and lead guitars, mics, and both of the speakers," the pastor told Fox 2. "Whoever did it they didn't do me no damage. They answer to God because that's who I work for."

The church believes whoever's responsible for the crime stayed all night and even helped themselves to a meal. Detroit Police are investigating. If you have any information that could help solve this case, call Detroit Police.
