PHOENIX -

We caught up with two of Arizona's elected leaders as they arrived back at Sky Harbor Airport on Thursday -- Sen. Jeff Flake and Rep. Krysten Sinema.

Both crossed the party line to cast their votes.

"To think you can take a vote that is purely on party lines and also solve a problem is just not true," said Sinema.

Flake stated, "I never thought it was a good idea to try and tie Obamacare to the shutdown and it wasn't  a good thing in my view."

Both expressed frustration that the economy and federal workers had to suffer because of the impasse and they don't blame the American people for being frustrated.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
