CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A 16-year-old girl went missing last Wednesday after she was dropped off at her high school in the South Chicago neighborhood.

Latori Coleman, a student at EPIC Academy Charter High School, did not attend class that day after she was dropped off at 83rd Street and South Coles Avenue near the school, Area South detectives said in an alert.

Coleman, who also goes by "Tori," needs her medication for a mood disorder, the alert said.

She is described as a 5-foot-5, 150-pound black girl with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, the alert said.

She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, gray polo shirt, beige jeans and black gym shoes, the alert said.

Anyone with information should contact Area South detectives at (312) 747-8274.
