Goodyear Police found 113 marijuana plants at a home near Sarival Avenue and Yuma Road on Wednesday.

55-year-old Kenneth Ruppel was arrested after a joint effort between Goodyear Narcotics Team and APS.

A patrol officer had taken a report at the home a few days prior to the arrest and says he smelled marijuana.

After a search warrant was served, police say 113 marijuana plants worth about $52,000 were found inside the home.

In addition, approximately 1/4 pound of marijuana, 1 gram of meth and an unknown amount of cash were reportedly found.

Ruppel faces five felony drug charges and is being held without bond.
