A Corona day care worker has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and molesting a child, police say.

Miguel Flores, 26, of Corona, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 8, after being accused of inappropriately touching girls   at Bixby Oaks day care center on Rimpau Avenue.

Parents of  children registered at Bixby Oaks are encouraged to discuss this with their kids , and to contact Senior Detective Andy Bryant at 951-817-5789 if they believe Flores may have had inappropriate contact with their children.

On Monday, police said they were notified by a "concerned guardian" that an 11-year-old girl had been inappropriately   touched by a staff member at the day care. Shortly thereafter,  Flores was identified as the suspect.

Detectives then interviewed the 11 year old and she told them of specific incidents when she was alone with Flores.  They also learned an 8-year-old girl may have also been inappropriately touched by the suspect.Police did not disclose details of the incidents.

Flores was arrested  Wednesday around noon as he left the day care center.  He has been booked  on suspicion of kidnapping and lewd and lascivious acts with a child under age 14, both felonies. His bail is set at $250,000.
