Caught On Tape : Two Men Rob Rite-Aid Store

Posted: Updated:

Police are looking for two men who robbed a Rite Aid Pharmacy in North Philadelphia. Surveillance has been released that will help identify the suspects.

The incident happened on the 5400 block of Rising Sun Ave on Saturday night.

The suspects, as shown in surveillance, were wearing hoodies and one wore a mask. They entered at 9:20 p.m.  At 9:26, surveillance shows the robber in the white hoodie brandish a silver gun on the cashier and demand money. The robber then takes the bills from the cash register, and in a moment of comedy, waivers before taking the one dollar bills too.

During this whole time, his accomplice, who looks younger and wears the white face mask with a black hoodie waits by the door and watches.

The suspects then flee the store.

There are no reported injuries from this robbery.

Philadelphia Police Citizens Crime Commission is offering $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the two men. If you have any information call at 215-546-TIPS.
