TAMPA (FOX 13) -

A small line of storms spun up several funnel clouds over South Tampa and even prompted a tornado warning on Tuesday.

Reports starting coming in to FOX 13 around 2 p.m. of a possible waterspout or funnel cloud near the east end of the Gandy Bridge.

Several FOX 13 viewers sent in photos of the clouds.  At one point, there were two small funnels simultaneously.

The National Weather Service warned that more could develop, and moments later, they issued a tornado warning for MacDill Air Force Base. A trained spotter and a pilot both reported seeing a funnel touch down on the base.

The view from an FDOT camera on the Howard Frankland showed a clear funnel over the water.

The tornado was also visible from across the bay in St. Pete.

No damage or injuries were reported.

Another funnel cloud was spotted over south Sarasota just before 7 p.m.
