Procter & Gamble donates toilet paper to 36th ward schools

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Procter & Gamble is donating 27 skids of toilet paper to Chicago Public Schools as part of 36th Ward Alderman Nicholas Sposato's toilet paper drive. It's a basic need, but a big one.

Sposato says schools have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in budget cuts and that makes paying for things like toilet paper more difficult.

Procter & Gamble made the big donation on Monday. Residents have also donated thousands of rolls of toilet paper to the schools.
