Tigers, Subway teaming up to help prevent bullying

DETROIT (WJBK) -

Beginning on Oct. 1, school assemblies will be held in participating areas, asking students to take a pledge to Stand Tall with The Tigers and standing up against bullying.

Representatives from the Michigan State Police will discuss the importance of bullying prevention and school safety. Students will then be invited to participate in the Stand Tall with The Tigers Video, Poster and Essay Competition, where they demonstrate how they Stand Tall with The Tigers.

Participating students will get a chance to win a $1000 educational grant for their school and $500 in SUBWAY® cash cards. One grand prize winner will be selected along with four runners up. Runners up will receive $50 in SUBWAY® cash cards and Tigers memorabilia. The Competition begins October 1, 2013 and ends October 31, 2013.
